All teams in the league are owned by NLSLUSA. NLSLUSA leases team rights. The lease of team rights entitles the owners a percentage of all income the league generates through advertisements, sponsorships, donations, league name usage, ticket and concession sales and other forms of league sales.
Team lease rights can be purchased by anyone who meets the qualifications and agrees to NLSLUSA rules and regulations and is accepted into NLSLUSA.
Team owners have complete control over their team’s rules and regulations if those rules don’t violate NLSLUSA rules and regulations.
Lease owners are responsible for following the leagues’ rules and seeing that their team does also.
Each city team can be acquired through lease-purchase only, and anyone who wishes to purchase the rights to a league team in a sports category may do so who is of legal age. NLSAUSA encourages the purchase of lease rights. If no teams are purchased in a city, that team will be the rights of the NLSLUSA until it is leased.
NLSLUSA along with team lease owners will make the rules for the league. NLSLUSA will have the final say in deciding the rules. All league rules must be followed by lease owners in order to participate in the league. Any major violations of league rules by owners may result in
NLSLTUSA teams will compete in local cities in tournament eliminations. They will progress to state eliminations and then to the national tournament for the NLSLUSA Championship Title.
Team Lease Rights
Teams will be formed based on the population of the city. The maximum teams per city will be two (east and westside).
Individuals who purchase team lease rights will have exclusive rights to that team’s territory, and no other teams can be formed to compete against that owner, in that city or out of state, who is a member of the NLSLUSA.
No lease owner of NLSLUSA team may compete against any team other than league teams of NLSLUSA. Violations are a major offense and will result in monetary fines, game suspensions, or expulsion from the league.
